Bed bug bite photos


Here are some bed bug bites on a ladies face.
Although bed bugs have never been proven to carry disease, it is still quite
embarrassing when you have them because general society sees them as
a dirty person's pest.  That is not the case though, anyone can get them.
People that do get them are just in the wrong place at the wrong time, many
people believe that they were reintroduced into North America from people
that travel to different places and bring them back on their luggage.


Dependihg on the size of the infestation the bites may be more numerous then others.
Some cases are more severe then others just because of the numbers
of bed bugs that you may have in your home.  As you can see in this
these bites were probably made by multiple bed bugs.  These types of
infestations need to be dealt with as soon as possible so they don't get
any farther out of control.

Groupings or lines of bites means that the bed bug was disturbed while it was feeding and started a new line.
If you see groups or lines of bites like the left of this picture, that usually
means that the bed bug was disturbed during feeding and stopped before
it was full.  This means that the bed bug was disturbed a few times before
it got its fill.

Bed Bugs Often go to places that are in contact with the actual bed, that way they don't have to climb on you.
Many times bed bugs will feed on areas of the body that are in contact with
the bed.  That way they don't risk tickling you when they are trying to get to
a feeding area. 

Some people show worse reaction then others to the saliva that the bed bugs inject.
Bed bug bites effect people in different ways, it is said that 60% of people
that are bitten by bed bugs don't show any signs of being bit.  The other
40% show different severity's of bug bites when bitten.  This person shows
extreme reactions to the saliva that the bed bug injected to be able to feed.

The grouping of bites on this guy means that they were disturbed while feeding.
Here is another example of the bed bugs being disturbed before they were
done feeding.  You can see small clusters of bites around one another.  That
means that they moved around a lot, or somehow the bed bugs were spooked.
